The term cloud computing stands for the decentralized storage of data, applications and software on the Internet. In this process, you access one or more third-party servers and use an infrastructure that is constantly being optimized. Files and programs that used to be stored on your own hard drive are now online in the cloud. So you can access them anywhere and with any device. There are essentially three cloud computing services that do not require local hardware:
Software as a Service (SaaS)
SaaS is a method of delivering software applications over the Internet, on-demand. This eliminates the need for installation on the PC.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
IaaS provides hardware resources virtually. You use an IT infrastructure that includes virtual computers, networks, operating systems, storage and servers.
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
PaaS includes cloud-based services that provide a computing platform. This provides application developers with an environment for testing, deploying and managing software.
